MANGASTORE / MEETINGS & POP CULTURE
Manga Barcelona 2026: four days to explore the world of manga
The Barcelona event dedicated to manga and Japanese culture, in the spaces of Gran Via.
Dates and location of the thirty-second edition
The thirty-second edition of Manga Barcelona is announced from 5 to 8 December 2026 at Fira Barcelona Gran Via. The official website collects information on guests, exhibitors and accesses. It is the reference to follow to distinguish the announcements of the new edition from the videos and results of the previous one.
Read the manga through encounters
Our advice is to arrive with a question: how is a table created, how does an edition change, what do you look for in an author's work? A specific interest makes even a short visit more useful. Taking notes on the titles discovered allows you to continue the research after the event.
Language is part of the choice
Before purchasing a volume, look at the language of the edition, the format and the numbering. To follow the meetings, check the official program which languages and methods are available. You can prepare a list with the original names of the works you are looking for: it's a little help when titles and editions change from one country to another.
